About Jackson School District
Jackson Public Schools are in Ocean County, NJ. The district consists of consists of a middle school and six elementary schools elementary school. Over 8100 students attend these schools. Of the 8100 students, almost 1400 are classified as special needs. Nine of the special needs students are sent out-of-district.
The annual budget is over $153 million of which the local taxpayers raise over $95 million.Approximately $22 million is for Special Education . Per pupil cost is in over $15,300 annually.
